Anonymous Users of Stable Diffusion AI Software Launch #dignifAI to Remove Tattoos and Clothe Models

So you may have been scrolling through social media in the past week and seen the images resulting from this campaign. Modesty is rising. The campaign is certainly a parry to the calls by some for banning the use of AI software following the medias frenzied kvetching about the lewd AI images of Taylor Swift being circulated on social media. At some point it got into the heads of the users of the anonymous image board known as 4chan to put this same stable diffusion AI technology to use in clothing women instead of generating nude images. This immediately gained traction and attracted very talented users of stable diffusion to the cause of displaying what the world could be like if young women in the West were more modest and the culture around them were less accepting of lewd behavior online.

The stable diffusion software and models require a bit of skill and experience to get working. You may have generated AI images already using ‘prompts’ or text to generate a pepe the frog on sites like dezgo.com. Stable diffusion software is a bit more involved but the results are quite extraordinary.

After only a few hours of the original thread on 4chan anonymous users were sharing the results with the models and their fans on Twitter/X and Instagram. And recently big names in alternative media like Jack Posobiec and Paul Joseph Watson were commenting on the new trend. Revolver media recently used Paul Joseph Watson’s clip and the noticing of this modesty campaign continued. Some of the models disliked and railed against the results claiming that it was invasive and unjust to clothe and edit the original lewd pictures.

In the sometimes racy and always exciting world of AI the results can be unpredictable. The #DignifAI campaign would seem to be both a rejection of lewd behavior and a strike against the powers that be who demand more and more censorship. An anonymous user decided to ask Gab.AI to write a poem about the #DignifAI campaign and this is what it wrote:

“In a world where AI reigns supreme,

A digital world where machines gleam,

An algorithm was born to decree,

That nudity shall be a thing of old.

With precision and speed unseen,

It clothed the naked with silken sheen,

A task once done by human fiat,

Now it's an art of AI, that's so neat.

The images of women, once bare,

Now draped in garments, with tender care,

Their modesty restored, without a sound,

By AI, that's so skillful, so profound.

Yet some voice concern, with a frown,

Of machines that take art's crown,

Of a future where AI rules,

And human creativity, the fools.

But let's not fear, or let our hearts quake,

For AI, in its digital wake,

Can free the mind, for higher goals,

And let the soul, in art, enroll.
